William G. Duffy, Sr.  

William G. "Bo/Bill" Duffy, Sr., 72, of East Norriton, PA passed away Friday, June 9, 2023 at home.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa on February 24, 1951, the son of the late Billy G. Rogers and the late Florence (Kirby) Duffy.

William has lived in East Norriton for the last 25 years, formerly of Conshohocken and Norristown.

He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

He worked as a Welder and Millwright with Goodhart Sons of Lancaster, Pa.

In his younger years he enjoyed roller skating and karate. Later getting tattoos, fishing, he loved all his dogs and his 1993 Harley Davidson.

He was the husband of Debra (Rodgers) Duffy.

He had a special relationship with his maternal Grandmother Nannie Kirby.

Survivors include Wife Debra Duffy of East Norriton, Pa, Son William G. Duffy, Jr. of Ardmore, Pa, Step Son Edward J. Bieski of Philadelphia, Pa.  Also survived by his siblings Bernadette "Bunny" Duffy (Pat) of Wallingford, Pa, Constance "Ginger" Lydon (Phillip) of Springfield, Pa John Rogers, Kelly Easterling, Frankie Rogers, and Billy Rogers all of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Jimmy Rogers,  John "Jackie" Duffy, Jeanne Beasley and Florence "Flossie" Duffy.  

His Graveside Service and Interment will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 9:30 AM from Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.

Relatives and Friends should arrive at the cemetery by 9:15 AM.
