Lauren Denise (Diemer) Gilbert, 50, of Plymouth Meeting, PA passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023.

She was born in Darby, PA on February 11, 1973, the daughter of Gerladine (Davis) Diemer and the late Lawrence Diemer.

Lauren has been living in Plymouth Meeting, PA for over 20 years. Formerly of Havertown, PA and Aldan, PA where she grew up.

She was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School. After high school Lauren graduated from Bryn Mawr X-Ray Technology School as well as Widener University. She furthered her professional credentials by becoming a certified MRI technologist. Lauren enjoyed her job as an MRI technician and volunteered often at her children’s school.

Her true passion, however, was her family and friends. She was a fantastic wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She and Jay shared a wonderful and loving marriage that began on February 23, 2002. From that love came two amazing kids. Jay, Lucas, and Jane were everything to her. They created an amazing life as a family in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

To know Lauren was to love her. She made everyone feel important. She would strike up a conversation with anyone and could make you feel like what they were saying meant something. She was always willing to help anyone that needed it, especially those she loved. She was the friend everyone hoped to have in life. Her laugh was infectious, and her smile lit up the room. She loved going on vacations with her family and made sure that they did so often. She cherished her summers in Cape May at the Diemer family home. She was always up for a night out, whether it was dinner with friends or grabbing a beer, she showed up with a smile and a story to tell you. Everyone in Lauren’s circle knew that her family was where the sun rose and set. Her children were the greatest gifts of her life. If you were fortunate enough to have known Lauren, even for a day, your life will forever be better for it.

Survived by her husband of 21 years, Jason R. Gilbert, her Son Lucas Gilbert, and daughter Jane Avery Gilbert. Mother Geraldine Diemer of Aldan, PA, Brother Christian (& Alexandra) Diemer of Oxford, PA, In-Laws Richard & Patricia Gilbert of Lower Macungie, PA, Sister In-Law Nicole (& Harry) Comfort of Lower Macungie, PA, Niece and Nephews Alex, Grace and Samuel, Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
