Obituary of Rosemarie Viney

Rosemarie Viney, age 75, of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023 after a brave battle with lung cancer.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 25, 1947, the daughter of the late Louis and Rose (Rescigno) DeLucca. 

Rose has been living in Schwenksville for 10 years, formerly of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia.  Prior to her retirement, Rose worked as a Seamstress for Penn Emblem Company.  She was revered by her children as a loving, strong and brave woman who raised her family as a single mother and loved cooking for family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.  Her large Italian dinners will be forever missed and never matched by her loved ones.       

She was the wife of the late Albert Richard Viney.

She is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Viney-Foster of Schwenksville, PA;

two sons, Albert (Holly) Viney, Jr. and Vincent S. (Kim) Viney, both of Royersford, PA;

sister, Albina (Christopher) Jensen of Warminster, PA;

seven grandchildren, Rose Ann Foster, Anthony Szostek, Chelsey Gagne, Alyssa Sanchez, Vincent S. Viney , Jr., Kayla Viney and Jocelyn Viney;

and seven great-grandchildren, Derek, Rocko, Trinity, Cyrus, Amara, Ryder and Kaeden. 

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Taylor Suwald; two brothers, Louis DeLucca and Frank DeLucca; and sister, Mary D'Ambrosio.   

Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, September 23 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.   

Interment will be private at a later date in Schwenksville Cemetery.
