William E. Olszewski  

William E. Olszewski, 83, of Norristown, PA passed away Friday, November 3, 2023.

He was born in Shenandoah, a small coal mining town in upstate PA, on November 4, 1939, the son of the late Stanley L. and Evelyn (Borowski) Olszewski.

William lived in Norristown a vast majority of his life.

He served stateside in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He cherished attending events participated in by his grandchildren, coaching his children in youth sports, collecting coins, making one liners to brighten someone’s day, and spending “quality time” with family.

He worked until his retirement as a Documentation Coordinator with Johnson & Johnson.

He was the forever devoted husband to Linda L. (Hurley) Olszewski.

Survivors include his Wife Linda Olszewski of Norristown, Son Edward (Jennifer) of Blue Bell, Son Robert (Dana) of Conshohocken, forever cherished 7 Grandchildren Kayleigh, Ainsley, Tyler, Colin, Finn, Brady and Jillian, Sister Dolores (Gordon) Knauer of North Wales, and many compassionate nieces and nephews. He was legendary for inadvertently addressing the 7 Grandchildren by the incorrect name. 

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Leon Olszewski.

His Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

Friends may visit with family and to pay their respects on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
