At about eight years old, Anne and I started our travel through life together until this day. Anne was the sister I never had. She moved next door to me, and we grew up very poor. However, we were loved. Our fun in the morning, was to race down the long yard to our outhouse.
In my senior year, a classmate called to invite me to a come as you are surprise breakfast. One problem, I had no Pjs. Ann took off her pjs right there in the kitchen and gave them to me. An example of the kindness and love Anne always had in her heart for everyone.
The world is not a better place with Anne's passing. Anne made sense, always helped me with problems, as I did her. She had a laugh that was heart lifting to me. My heart is broken. We never parted without saying I Love You!
I love you Anne, my close, dear sister! I will miss your laugh and your friendship.
Thank you, my wonderful friend, for being you. But, mostly, for being MY friend! I will miss you terribly. Bette
