Obituary of Francis J. Fioravanti

Frank J. Fioravanti, 79 of Wayne, PA passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024. 

 

Frank was born in Norristown, Pa on June 19, 1944, and is the son of the late Francis T. and the late Anne M. (Coccia) Fioravanti.  Frank graduated from Upper Merion High School, and he served in the US Army. 

Frank's proudest accomplishment and greatest passion was writing songs and producing music. His song "Be Thankful For What You Got" earned a gold record in 1974.  He also enjoyed his many salesman ventures and especially working with his brother Nick's swimming pool company. 

 

Frank was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan especially the Phillies and Eagles and according to him, he knew just how the game should be played. 

 

Frank is survived by his Daughter Deborah Fioravanti of Plymouth Meeting, Brother Nicholas Fioravanti of Eagleville, Sister Mary Ann Hoffman of Royersford, also survived by his grandchildren Jessica, Kevin, Angela, Natalie and Matthew, and great grandchildren Anthony and Aliyah, his former Wife Patricia Teaford, and by nieces and nephews.

 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Frankie Fioravanti.

 

His Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 10:30 AM from St. Matthew's RC Church, 219 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

 

Friends may call on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA.

 

Interment will be in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA.
