Obituary of Jenny Louise Flack

Jenny Louise Flack (née Schreck), age 71, of Blue Bell, PA, passed away on May 30, 2024, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Leonard Paul Flack, Jr., to whom she was married forty-seven years.  They were constant companions and soulmates through life’s journey.

Jen’s familial nickname was Jenny Wren from the title of a children’s book.  Jenny was a petite person who blessed us with her lifelong kindness and joy.  She was a gentle soul with a soft sense of humor.  She delighted in time spent with family, particularly her granddaughter, Haley.  Those who knew her will miss her smile and sweetness.

After her wake-up serenade from Leonard each morning, Jenny enjoyed sipping her Cinnabon-laced coffee.  She supported Leonard through his many years as an electrician with unusual work hours, and enjoyed helping him with home projects, carefully learning the name of each tool needed.   They had a perfect partnership.

Life was not all work.  Jen enjoyed time spent on her Key West themed porch, sipping coffee and talking with Haley.  They also enjoyed going out for meals together.  Trips to Key West and the shore were great, and so were afternoons watching General Hospital.     

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Z. Schreck, Jr. and Jeanne Lousie (Brobst) Schreck.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ann Martinelli (Paul) and her granddaughter, Haley Frangioso.  Also survived by her brother, Donald M. Schreck (Minnie), her sister, Mary A. Pratt (Hal), her sister-in-law, Barbara Flack, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday, June 4 from 10 AM to 11 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM, at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 E. Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, West Norriton, PA, by the headstone her husband, Leonard, designed for both of them to share.
