Obituary of Francis Werner Krimm

Francis Werner Krimm, 91, of Lansdale, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 18, 2024. 

He was born in Chestnut Hill, PA on July 19, 1933,  the son of the late Michael J. and the late Ethel (Werner) Krimm.

Frank has lived in Brittany Pointe Estates since 2008 and Lansdale all of his life.  He was a lifelong active member of St. Stanislaus RC Church of Lansdale and served on the parish council.  

He graduated from St. Stanislaus Grade School and Roman Catholic High School, Class of 1951.

Frank served as a Corporal in the US Army during the Korean War, where he received the National Defense Service Award and the Good Conduct Medal.

He was very active in his community and volunteered with St. Stanislaus Boy Scouts Troop 414.  He was a member of the Lansdale Historical Society since the early 1970's and was presented with an outstanding service award from the society in 2017.  He served on the Lansdale Planning Commission for 35 years and as the Chairman for 25 years. 

He worked as a Customer Engineer with IBM for 32 years and he was honored with multiple service awards.  After retiring, he went to work with Swartley Brothers where he was instrumental in starting their Cabling Division. 

He also served as a representative for Brittany Pointe at the Upper Gwynedd Township meetings.

Frank loved spending time with family at his home on Lake Wallenpaupack.  He had been an active member of the Lake Wallenpaupack Community Association as well as the community road association.

He was the husband of the late Annette (Kulp) Krimm. 

Survivors include his daughter, Susan (Michael) Tierney of Audubon, PA; son, Michael (Erika) Krimm of Ewing, NJ; and five grandchildren, Kelly Anne, Brianna, Shannon, Ethan and Owen. 

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday evening, August 21, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA 19401; and on Thursday morning, August 22, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at St. Stanislaus RC Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, where his Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 AM. 

Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
