Obituary of Angelo Joseph Laquitara

Angelo Laquitara, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on November 2, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Angelo led a life full of love, laughter, and accomplishment.

Angelo had a remarkable career as a sales leader, spending the majority of his life as a General Manager for Ford. His charisma, charm, expertise, and leadership made him a trail blazer in the automotive industry, where he was respected and admired by colleagues and customers alike.

Beyond his professional achievements, Angelo was a man who truly embraced life. He had a million-dollar smile and a lighthearted spirit, always quick with a joke, and known for his favorite phrase, "All good...hundred percent!" 

Even in his final days, Angelo's positive outlook and sense of humor shone through, bringing comfort and smiles to those around him.

Angelo loved spending time with the people who meant the world to him. Whether he was cooking up a feast for family and friends, dancing the night away, or simply enjoying a day at the beach, he lived for these moments. The beaches of Brigantine and Margate held a special place in his heart, where he spent countless days basking in the sun and relishing the company of loved ones. Some of his happiest times were when his daughters and grandchildren would visit, filling his home with laughter and joy.

Angelo's zest for life, love for his family, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

His legacy of love, laughter, and living life to the fullest will continue to inspire and uplift those he leaves behind.

Funeral services were private.  A celebration of Angelo's life is being planned by the family and will be held at a later date.
