To the McDonnell Family, Please accept my sincerest condolences for the passing of your wife, mother, grandmother and friend. I can't imagine the void and pain her passing has left you with. At Isaiah 25:8, God provides us with his loving promise that "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." In addition, God promises us at Revelation 21: 4 that he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." It's comforting to know that our loving heavenly father, Jehovah, will remove the pain that we are experiencing as a result of the sting of death and that this pain is temporary. In her obituary you mentioned that Mary was a Eucharistic Minister, from this I see she was a woman who believed in God, the blessings he provided and the hope he had in store for his children. I hope the hope that Jehovah has provided to us in the scriptures will give you comfort as you mourn.
