Obituary of Mary E. McDonnell

Mary E. McDonnell (nee McCall), 76, of Blue Bell, PA passed away on December 31, 2016.

She was born in Norristown, PA on August 30, 1940, the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (Rath) McCall.

Mary has been living in Blue Bell since 2009, formerly of Lexington, KY, Maple Glen and Conshohocken.

She was a member of Saint Helena Parish of Blue Bell where she served as a Eucharistic Minister.

Mary was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include her husband, Martin J. McDonnell of Blue Bell; two sons, Martin R. (Margo) McDonnell of Schwenksville, PA and Richard E. (Maureen McFarland) McDonnell of Marco Island, FL; two daughters, Suzanne (Dr. Edmundo) Cortez of Oak Park, IL and Michele L. (Evelyn Alberty) McDonnell of New York, NY.

Mary is also survived by eight grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Along with her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her sister, Peggie Hughes.

Her Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Helena RC Church, 1489 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell PA 19442.

Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 10 - 10:45 AM at the Church.

Interment will be private at a later date in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
